R5 FARMS

At R5 Farms, we strive for an integrated food production system that ensures nutrient-dense products while enhancing the health and productivity of the land we farm.

For example, our garden works in conjunction with our chickens. In the winter, our chickens stay enclosed on deep bedding. In the spring, our chickens are moved onto pasture and the bedding is composted to benefit our garden.  Our garden, in turn, benefits our chickens as we share excess produce to improve the nutrition of the eggs they produce.  We continue to evolve as we experiment and expand our practices and are eager to share our journey with you.
